Chrysalis Care was created to provide compassionate, knowledgeable support through some of life’s most difficult transitions. Drawing on my experience as a Licensed Funeral Director, Certified Death Doula and grief support professional, I help individuals and families understand their options, make informed decisions and feel less alone in the process.

I’m Carol Mailloux. For many years, I’ve walked alongside people during moments that can feel overwhelming, uncertain and deeply personal.
My background as a Licensed Funeral Director and Certified Death Doula has taught me that people need more than information. They need someone who will listen, explain things in plain language and help them find their way forward without judgment or pressure.
My work has grown to include grief coaching because grief doesn’t begin or end with a funeral. It can come with death, illness, changing relationships, caregiving, major life transitions and the many losses we experience along the way.
You don’t have to have all the answers. Sometimes you just need someone who knows how to walk beside you while you find them.
